Wood Logging

Established in 2009, PT. Bumimas Permata Abadi is a timber industry company located in Gunung Mas and Kapuas district, Central Kalimantan. A tropical lowland rainforest trees dominated with Dipterocarpaceae tree family like Meranti, Keruing, Bangkirai, Kapor, Mersawa. The company operates under the Decree of the Minister of Forestry dated 15 October 2009 covering an area of 47,700 Ha and a period of forest exertion for 45 years.  In  2016 , Bumimas Permata Group expands its area of operation under the name of  PT. Agromas Kencana Abadi, where the Minister of Forestry has granted permission for forest exertion covering an area of 22, 622 Ha for 45 years. Total area of the company becomes ± 70,500 Ha.

PT. Bumimas Permata Abadi site’s geographically located on 113°34’09,0” – 113°51’12,0” East Longitude and 0°41’35,0” – 0°55’05,0” South Latitude whereas PT. Agromas Kencana Abadi site’s located on 1130 43’ 35” – 1130 56’ 42” East Longitude and 00 52’ 43” LS – 10 00’ 50” South Latitude. From provincial cities can be reached through landline or waterways. The landline access requires travel time for approximately 5 hours to reach our basecamp from Palangkaraya city, while for the waterways by boat down from Baronang II village through river access for approximately 2 hours.

Our wood logging activity has been legally authorized by Indonesian government. Since the beginning, we believe world’s natural resources must be renewable. To minimize environmental damage due to logging activities, Bumimas Permata Group  has always been implementing activities for responsible forest utilization that has obtained PHPL certification and also actively engage in forestation activities.
